MAY DAY

The yard is filled with flowers this time of year. Roses, Black-eyed Susans, and a variety of small daisies. I made a little flower crown for the babe to celebrate the beautiful day. Wish I could freeze her in time like this.

MADE FOR PEPPER: 4 MONTHS

For Pepper's 4 month outfit, I got pressed for time so I used the same pattern from last months and cut a new romper in cotton batik fabric. Pepper wears her romper with leopard print hair-on hide moccasins.

MADE FOR PEPPER: 3 MONTHS

Catching up on monthly outfits. This was 3 months, right in time for St. Patrick's day. Green silk floral romper with gold leather moccasins. The clover was in full bloom! Spring is here.

MADE FOR PEPPER: 2 MONTHS

Here's Pepper's 2 month outfit (posting it late, of course). Her 2 month birthday fell near Valentine's Day, so of course I wanted to make something red!

This is a simple dress pattern that was fun to make. The skirt, ruffle, and ties are silk chiffon, the yolk and skirt lining are cotton poplin.

It's got an easy adjustable fit so she'll be able to wear it through her first year (probably as shirt when she gets big).

The headband is just a strip of chiffon, the shoes are red metallic leather moccasins, available for purchase HERE.

MADE FOR PEPPER: 1 MONTH

The last few months have been pretty busy, mostly because I had a baby! Her name is Pepper and she is awesome. I thought a really fun project would be to make her an outfit for each month of her first year (maybe even longer?). This would would be a great way to document her growth and try my sewing skills out with baby clothes, which I've never had any interest in making...until now! So around the 15th of each month, I will show her monthly outfit (running a little late this time). Stay tuned for the next one, it's around Valentine's Day and I'm excited to get working on it.

EMBOSSING

Embossing is available on leather moccasin styles. This makes a great way to personalize baby's first shoes. Adding the name and birthday to the tongue of the shoe makes a great newborn gift! Check store to right ------------------------------------------------------------------------>

WEEKEND SHOP REPORT
